2015 as a fitness marketing year in numbers

The Dutch fitness market is growing. But for many, many independent entrepreneurs with a gym or fitness centre, these are very difficult times.

Record number of fitness leads, month after month in 2015

Completely contrary to current trends, over 220 fitness centres in the Netherlands, Belgium, England and Ireland (with more countries to follow) are experiencing the power of the Hidden Profits Marketing Formula. By using a simple concept (the right website + many hundreds of extra visitors a month through search engines and social media + bi-monthly campaigns), they experienced record month after record month in 2015. The concept is simple; the strategies used, the techniques and the optimisation processes behind it are pure rocket science.

This is 2015 in numbers. The focus is on leads demonstrably generated through club websites. Reactions through the phone, walk-ins, and e-mail with information requests were not counted. N.B., these are only totals and averages, as achieved for Hidden Profits’ regular customers. There is no such thing as the average sports centre, and individual numbers will vary as a result, both up and down. However, the averages do provide a good picture of what is possible.

  • Total number of fitness leads generated: 146,515
  • Average number of fitness centres per month: 154
  • Average number of leads per fitness centre: 951
  • Average growth in number of leads per fitness centre: 131%
  • Number of fitness centres (temporarily) at capacity: 30!
  • Remarkably, almost all leads were generated without giving away discounts or free months!

Let’s be honest: a new treadmill, or simply new equipment, will not help you get hundreds of new members. And become healthily profitable again. It’s all about a complete strategy.
