What I found lately, is that a lot of owners and managers of independent health clubs, gyms, personal training studio, bootcamp, yoga studios have no plan... no plan!
What you miss having no plan? Well, how about the fun, the growth of your fitness business, the predictability, less stress, maybe even no stress at all, the cash flow, and go on and on. If you don't have a plan, you will always fit in some one else's plan. But most of the times, that's your competitor's plan. Guess how much room there is for your fitness business in your competitor's plan... The health club and gym that has a plan, always wins.
This is an easy one. Go to the IHRSA (International Health & Racquet Sportsclub Association) website and read this blog post. After that, sit down for even just 30 minutes and write down your basic plan. And remember: a plan is just the guide, you need to execute on it. And most of the times the year will not end completely as you planned, but it's a giant leap towards total freedom. And isn't that what you as a health club entrepreneur, as a gym manager, as a fitness professional really want in the long run?
