Over the past years a LOT has changed, and the possibilities within social advertising have grown tremendously. That's why we created completely new guidelines for the use of images and videos in social advertising!
We have done a crazy amount of tests when it comes to social advertising in the fitness industry. Just some examples: should you use your own personal club images OR images from stock sites? Should people in the photo be laughing OR be in the middle of a crazy workout? What photo quality is required? What light works best? What does Facebook even allow? Should people look into the camera, face each other or look at the equipment? Answer that last question for yourself:
Would this image draw the attention of your potential clients (if the target group matches)? Or would it not?

In one of our tests, the result of using stock images OR own personal club images resulted in a difference of 50%. That's double the amount of leads because of the image alone!
Advertising with images is still done a lot. But what draws the attention even more than an attractive image? Video! Mark Zuckerberg predicted it years ago: Facebook will be mainly video in the future. And the time has come! Scroll down your Facebook timeline and you'll see the result: Mark was right.
